Bhuvaneshwar Kumar’s father dies, cricketer serving father at home

Indian cricketer Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s father died on Thursday. A chronically ill Kiranpal Singh breathed his last at his residence in Meerut. Kiranpal Singh, working in the police department, was 63 years old, he took VRS. Originally from Bulandshahr, Kiranpal was posted in Meerut and Muzaffarnagar.

Battling serious illness
Father Kiranpal was undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi and a hospital in Noida. He was being treated by doctors in England. Due to liver disease, he was surrounded by jaundice and many other diseases. Recently, the family brought him home after doctors responded. Bhuvi was serving him along with his family members.

Deadly threats were received six years ago
Bhuvi’s father was also threatened with death after a land deal in Bulandshahr. The case is of 2015. When Bhuvaneshwar Kumar was on a tour of Sri Lanka. The father then sought help from the police. In fact, the father was asked to withdraw from the deal after he bought the land. If he did not agree, he was threatened with the consequences. The DIG Meerut then provided security to the family.
