Just a week or two has passed since the 14th season of IPL ended that the preparations for the next season have also started. Two new franchises are set for the 2022 season, increasing the number of teams from eight to 10.
If reports are to be believed, apart from big business groups like Adani, Birla, Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also want to buy a team in the IPL. As soon as this news reached the world, people started having fun in their own style.

The BCCI had extended the deadline for buying tender documents for new IPL teams by 10 days till October 20 and the two new franchises will cost no less than Rs 3500 crore each, according to reliable sources.
BCCI plans to add two more teams in the 2022 IPL phase and these are expected to be from Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Pune. The BCCI is expecting to earn at least Rs 7000 crore, though the base price of each team has been kept at Rs 2000 crore.
It is learned that big business houses like Kotak Group, Aurobindo Pharma, Torrent Pharma, RP-Sanjeev Goenka Group, Birla Group and Adani Group are keen to buy teams in the IPL, which is currently an eight-team tournament.
The Indian Cricket Board has allowed a group of three teams to bid. The new teams are expected to be announced on October 25 in Dubai, a day before India begin their campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
